This page explains what we collect when you visit thekaizenblitz.com, which third-party tools run on the site, and how to ask us to delete anything we hold about you. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The Kaizen Blitz is an email and SMS marketing agency working with eCommerce and direct-to-consumer brands, and a trading name of a registered Illinois LLC. We are the controller of the personal information described on this page.

This policy covers this website. It does not cover the marketing we run inside our clients' own systems — in that work we act as a processor for the client, and their privacy policy applies.
When you book a call, download a resource, or subscribe through a popup, we collect what you type into the form. Typically that is your name, email address, and sometimes your phone number, company name, website, and a rough revenue range.
When you browse the site we collect technical and behavioural data without you typing anything:
Rather than describe these in the abstract, here is the actual list. Each one sets cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and receives data about your visit.
The RB2B one deserves a plain sentence rather than a footnote: it can identify you personally, by name and professional profile, without you filling in a form. If you would rather that did not happen, email us and we will suppress you.
We only send marketing to people who asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link in the footer, and it works immediately. For SMS, reply STOP. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop replies to something you asked us directly.
The service providers listed above, our professional advisers, and anyone we are legally required to disclose to. If the business is ever sold or merged, your information would transfer with it.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Note that running advertising pixels can count as “selling” or “sharing” under some US state privacy laws even when no money changes hands — see your rights below.
Enquiry and client records are kept for as long as we have a relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, for legal and accounting reasons. Marketing subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted. Session recordings expire on the schedule set by Hotjar and Clarity, which is measured in months, not years.
Wherever you live, you can email us and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it.
If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” described above, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of those rights.

Your browser can block or delete cookies, which will stop most of the tools above. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends it. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising directly with Meta, LinkedIn and X in their own account settings.
We are based in the United States and our service providers are largely US-based, so if you are contacting us from elsewhere your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States.
We use reputable providers, keep access limited to people who need it, and protect accounts with two-factor authentication. No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
This site is aimed at business owners and marketers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will say so in an email to our subscribers rather than hoping nobody notices.
